Prabhas Praises Paralympic Gold Medal Winner

Everyone is aware of the achievement of PV Sindhu and Sakshi Malik, who won Silver and bronze medals in the recent Rio Olympic 2016, both received grand welcome and were facilitated with the huge prize money and other benefits in their respective states. Recently the Paralympic events were started and Indian  started to give  their best performance at this event. Paralympic Games, is a major international multi-sport event involving athletes with a range of disabilities, including impaired muscle power, impaired passive range of movement, limb deficiency and vision impairment etc. Mariyappan Thangavelu and Varun Singh Bhati, have  won the gold and bronze medal respectively in the men's high jump at Rio Paralympics 2016.  Mariyappan Thangavelu,  hailing from Chennai of Tamil Nadu.   Rebel star Prabhas praised him and tweeted,” #MariyappanThangavelu ,ur win is an inspirational story for everyone. Hats off to you on your gold medal #Paralympics.” On the other side Kabali star Rajinikanth also praised him. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha also announced a reward of Rs 2 Crores  for  Mariyappan Thangavelu  for winning the gold medal in the high jump event and all the political party leaders congratulated  the youth for his achievement. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also tweeted,” India is elated! Congratulations to Mariyappan Thangavelu on winning a gold & Varun Singh Bhati for the bronze at the #Paralympics.”
