Many of his fans felt that the film was full-fledged with the mass action with lot of fights and also with colorless storyline added on the first day itself the film received mixed reviews just an average talk. But the first week collections shocked even top trade analysts bagged on Rs 55.55 Cr becoming top ten Tollywood films and top grosser in Prabhas' s career till now.
